We chose stainless steel and food-grade silicone because they are the safest materials available for baby feeding products. Both are non-porous, which means they do not absorb bacteria, odors, or chemicals over time. Neither material contains BPA, phthalates, lead, or cadmium. There is no plastic that touches the food or drink in any Haomomo product.
Every component is chosen with intention. Our food-grade silicone parts are soft enough for little mouths, durable enough for daily use, and easy to inspect and clean. Clear silicone straws let you see that they're clean. Removable parts snap apart without tools so nothing is hidden from cleaning.
Our 18/8 stainless steel is compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for food-contact safety. It won't rust, corrode, stain, or retain odors, even after years of daily dishwasher use.
Every Haomomo product is tested by an independent, CPSC-accredited laboratory before it goes to market. We test all food-contact components against FDA standards and U.S. federal requirements for children's products. We do not rely on supplier documentation alone.
Haomomo was started by parents who went looking for feeding products they could trust completely and found the options lacking. Too much plastic, too many hidden parts, too little transparency about what was actually in the materials.
Every product we make is one we use ourselves with our own children. Third-party testing isn't a compliance checkbox for us. It's how we sleep at night knowing the products we sell are genuinely safe for babies.
